Setup
- Place the litter box on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.
- Fill clumping litter up to the mark indicated in the manual.
- Plug in the unit and connect it to the app (see below).
- Leave automatic cleaning off for the first few days and place the new litter box next to the old one so your cat can get used to it calmly.
App and Wi-Fi
- KatzLux models are controlled via a smartphone app. The manual for your model tells you which app you need.
- According to the manufacturer, the KatzLux Open only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. During setup, connect your smartphone to your router's 2.4 GHz network.
- Connection not working? Move closer to the router, check the Wi-Fi password, restart the unit and start the setup in the app again.
Care and maintenance
Automatic cleaning takes care of the daily sifting. You empty the waste drawer, top up the litter and clean the unit regularly as described in the manual. You'll find the exact intervals and approved cleaning products in the manual. Unplug the unit before each cleaning.

Common problems
- Cleaning doesn't start: check that the waste drawer is inserted correctly and that nothing inside is triggering the sensors.
- Clumps are left behind: use clumping litter and stick to the fill level stated in the manual.
- The app shows the unit as offline: check the Wi-Fi connection (2.4 GHz) and restart the unit.

Delivery and import charges
- Shipping is free throughout Switzerland.
- The goods are shipped from a warehouse in Germany. On delivery, you pay the carrier import VAT (8.1%) and a customs clearance fee. These are not included in the price.
Returns
- You can return the goods within 14 days of receipt. Notify us of the return by email with your order number.
- You pay the cost of return shipping. Free shipping applies to the delivery to you.
- We refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Warranty
All models come with the statutory 2-year warranty from delivery. If there is a defect, please write to us with your order number, a description and photos or a video.
